‘Eclectic: Objects of Conflict’, his first solo show at J+A Gallery, Sasan Nasernia presents paintings, along with mixed media and collage works, inspired by the on-going regional human history of conflict and communication.
His works are playing with familiar concepts and aesthetics, with traditional patterns and shapes from the region he is living in. He is using calligraphy and arabesque styles, and combining them in a new way with common contemporary and historic symbol and pictograms of conflict. His works deliver food for thought, and are at the same time innocent, clear and aesthetically convincing pieces of art.
J+A Gallery is proud to have this bold and precise artist exhibiting his works in their gallery. The industrial and raw aura of J+A Gallery will be the perfect background for Sasan Nasernia’s artworks.
